ISG ALUMNUS CRACKS CIVIL SERVICES EXAMINATION
Afnan Abdu Samed, an alumnus of class 10, 2012 batch of Indian School Al Ghubra has cracked the UPSC Civil Services Examination by securing All India Rank of 274. He has achieved this remarkable feat without any formal coaching which makes it all the more commendable.
Afnan’s teachers at ISG fondly remember him as a courteous and hardworking student who had scored a 10 CGPA in all subjects in the CBSE Class X Examination.
After his schooling, Afnan gained admission to NIT, Trichy and joined ITC through campus selection.
Inspired by the services rendered by the then Pathanamthitta District Collector,
Mohammad Nooh, during the 2018 Kerala floods, Afnan decided to seriously focus on the Civil Services Examination and made it to the list of successful candidates.
Afnan spent a decade of his formative years in ISG which makes the members of the ISG family immensely proud of his stupendous achievement and they look forward to seeing him scale greater heights with his noble vision of service to society.
