Saloni clinches twin gold
Saloni Salvi, former
student of Indian School Al Ghubra was
conferred twin gold medals for standing
first in the Petrochemical branch and also
for being the best topper among toppers of
all Undergraduate courses at The Maharashtra
Institute of Technology, a renowned college,
in Pune city in Maharashtra, under the
auspices of the Pune University.

ISG alumnus
achieves rare distinction
Sabnam Gafoor, former Head
Girl of Indian School Al Ghubra and an
academically brilliant student has brought
glory to her alma mater with her remarkable
achievement. A student of the 2007-08 batch, Sabnam has been placed into IIT Chennai, for
the Integrated MA course where she gets to
choose to specialize in Economics,
Developmental Studies or English.
This rare achievement came
after she was placed 25 in the All India
Rank at the IIT Humanities and Social
Sciences Entrance Examination. Of the Scores
of students preparing and aspiring for this
course, only 32 are chosen.

Boris D’Souza, student of the
2007 batch of ISG has won the prestigious
MJEC-CBU 2009 Featured Engineering Student
Award for his academic excellence, student
leadership, and service to the University
and community. The award was presented to
him by Dr. John Ventura Chair, Electrical &
Computer engineering at the National
Engineers Week was held on February 16-19 at
the Holiday Inn, University of Memphis.The Memphis Joint Engineers Council (MJEC)
and Engineers' Club of Memphis (ECM) hosted
the event.
Boris is
currently pursuing his undergraduate course
in Electrical & Computer Engineering, at the
University of Memphis.
The Management, Staff and
students of the school have all expressed
their delight at Boris’s achievement and
hope to see him scale more heights. |

Once again an
alumnus of ISG has done the school proud.
Arathi Sasidharan, former Head Girl of
Indian School AlGhubra and an academically
brilliant student of the 2004 batch has
brought glory to her alma mater with her
remarkable achievement. She has completed
her B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics
Engineering from the National Institute of
Technology, Trichi, India with first rank
and distinction. She had a CGPA of 9.55.
Aarthi was awarded the gold medal during the
convocation held on August 26, 2008 in
recognition of her outstanding achievement.

Rohini
Ramachandran student of the …..batch of
Indian School Al Ghubra has been awarded the
prestigious Aditya Birla Award and
scholarship. After securing a high rank in
the All India Engineering Entrance Exam,
Rohini obtained admission in NIT, Trichy in
Electronics and Communication.
